Canadian Hearts for Orphans and Widows (C.H.O.W.)

We’ve all seen them – the commercials showing the orphans of the world – homeless, hungry, uncared for. If you are like me, sometimes you just can’t look anymore and you feel overwhelmed – like “what can I do – I’m only one person”. Here is an easy and powerful answer to that question – you can PRAY!  At the office of Teen Missions in Canada, we have begun to pray every other Friday specifically for the ministry Teen Missions has to orphans and widows in several sub-Saharan countries of Africa. I think you will agree that there is no such thing as too much prayer. It is our hope that you will join us and form your own group that will meet on a day and time conveneint for you and your group (at least twice a month). We ask that you pray specifically for the orphans and widows and for those in Teen Missions ministering to them.

Teen Missions currently has 32 active AIDS Orphans Rescue Units, 6 Matron units, 96 Motorcycle Sunday School Missions and 1 Patron unit in the countries of Cameroon, Malawi, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Close to 10,000 are being ministered to through one or more of these ministries.

- safety for all involved in these ministries

- for all who are cared for by these ministries, that God will use Hi speople and His Word to transform their hearts and lives.
